“Translocations” has been my go-to coin routine for many years, and for just as many years I wished there was such a thing as a DOLLAR-SIZED English penny. I knew that with the larger coins, “Translocations” could play BIGGER, with phases that HIT HARDER. In addition, dollar-sized coins are better suited to the hands in the context of the routine.
So, in addition to minting DOLLAR-SIZED English pennies, I minted DOLLAR-SIZED Chinese coins of excellent quality and matched them up with terrific Morgan silver dollar reproductions. This is the result:
