My usual opener at The Magic Castle. A spectator names any card. A blank card is placed under her hand – it turns into the named card. This is a gimmicked deck (actually it’s more than just that) that does amagic effect as opposed to a mental effect (such as The Invisible Deck or Brainwave). This is also a perfect strolling or table-hopping effect, as it resets in one second. I literally never leave the house to perform magic without carrying it with me.
